What are some Creative Ways to Make Money Online?
Sometimes it’s the flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere that makes a job worth it.
Setting your hours and making your schedule is very appealing to many that are looking to start creative side hustles.
Here are some of the most creative ways to make money online.
Sell Printables
Printables are documents that you create that you then sell to other people. They can be printable daily planner pages, bridal shower, birthday party games, or even works of art.
The best thing about printables, and why, they make the top of the list is that printables fall into several different categories.
Not only are they a great way to make money online, but they’re also a phenomenal form of passive income and something you can do from home or while on vacation. Once a printable is created, it can be sold again and again and again without any work on your part, bringing you extra cash along the way.
Want to make and sell your own printables? Check out our e-printables course that has helped over nine thousand people start their own printables side hustle!

Selling printables can be done on a variety of platforms such as Etsy or Shopify, or even your own website.
Become an Affiliate Marketer
Becoming an affiliate marketer is an excellent idea if you’re already an established blogger. Transform your website into an affiliate marketing machine and earn money online.
Through affiliate marketing, you will be making money every time someone purchases a product you recommend.
The more buyers you convince, the more money you make. According to Glassdoor, the average affiliate marketer makes just over $66,000 per year.
Become a Transcriptionist
Companies like Rev.com and Transcribe Anywhere will pay you to watch videos or listen to audio and write down what you hear.
If you can type faster than 50 words per minute (WPM), then transcription might be a good way for you to make some extra money on the side.
The nice thing about transcription work is where and when you work is up to you. You can work at home or on a road trip; first thing in the morning or the middle of the night.
As long as you have a quality internet connection, you’re good to go.
Become an Influencer
Let me start by saying that becoming an influencer is not as easy as it sounds. However, if you’re good on camera or take fantastic pictures or make quality videos, consider becoming an influencer.
A following of just 10,000 to 50,000 followers will start to earn you some serious money. Influencers with just 50,000 followers make anywhere from $40,000 to $100,000 per year.
Pick a social media platform that you’re comfortable with, whether it’s Instagram, TikTok, or something else, and get started. You’ll never know unless you try.
What are some Creative Ways to Make Money on the Side?
If you’re looking to make some serious dough and don’t mind a bit of hard work, then these side hustles might be just what you’re looking for.
Sell Your Skills on Upwork or Fiverr
Upwork and Fiverr are great ways to sell your skills to a public in desperate need of help.
Businesses are always looking for professional writers, marketers, web designers, and personal assistants who can get done what they can’t and will pay money for these services.
If you’re looking for a job that’s flexible while still earning you a livable wage from your full-time job, give Upwork a chance.
You can find steady work or one-time gigs, allowing you to earn as much or as little as you like each month.

Sell Your Stuff
Whether it’s on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or one of the dozens of other apps out there, selling stuff you no longer use is a great way to make some extra cash.
Sites like ThreadUp and Poshmark will help you sell your clothes online, or you can go to your local second-hand clothing store and sell your gently used clothing.
If you have a lot of books that you don’t want anymore, try Bookscouter. The app will scan barcodes and then tell you several different companies that will pay for those books.
Cleaning out your garage has never been so profitable and is a sure way to make money fast.
Join a Focus Group
If you have a few hours to kill on a random weekday or even some spare time during the weekend, consider joining a focus group. Companies are always looking for insight into their current products or new products that they’re planning to launch.
Focus groups will usually require you to go to a specified location and spend time speaking to the company’s employees or talking about a product with other people like you.
While it can take a while to get picked for a focus group, the pay can be pretty good. I’ve seen anywhere from $75 to $300 for a few hours of insight.
Babysit
A love for kids is a must in this side hustle, but babysitting can be lucrative. According to ZipRecruiter, babysitters make an average of $17 per hour, more if they’re taking care of multiple kids at once.
Start out babysitting for people that you know and work out from there. If you’re good at what you do, you’ll be turning clients away in no time.
To help you land those gigs, take the time to get certified in CPR and first aid (you can usually find courses through the American Red Cross). Taking a course will not only increase your value to clients but will also help you increase the pool of potential clients and diversify yourself from other clients’ potential candidates.
Pet Sit
Similarly, pet sitting is another good side hustle, and it can also be lucrative. The site Home Guide says pet sitters can charge as much as $25 for a 30-minute home visit or $75 for an overnight stay. The prices vary depending on how many pets you take care of at one time.
Like babysitting, offer to help out friends and family first and branch out from there.
Some pet sitters watch dogs 24/7, while others show up a few times a day to walk dogs and feed them.
The nice thing about pet sitting is you can take as many or as few jobs as you like, leaving you plenty of flexibility for the other things in your life, all while making good money.
Become a Mystery Shopper
If you have a knack for noticing the little things, then give mystery shopping a try. Legitimate companies like BestMark and MarketForce will pay you to visit stores, evaluate the service you receive and then report back to them.
The cool thing about mystery shopping is that shoppers usually receive a reimbursement for their purchase on top of receiving payment for the shop.
The ability to travel is vital, but mystery shopping is the perfect side hustle for those who don’t mind adding an extra errand to their to-do list.
Become a Podcaster
Grab a friend and sit down for a chat. While becoming a successful podcaster takes a lot of time, it might be the best side gig for you if you feel you have something helpful to share with the world.
A good microphone and a computer are all you need to get started.
Consistency is critical in an industry like podcasting. You need to post regularly and often to gain a following. However, podcasters can make you a good living if their message hits its mark.
You can also become a podcast editor! Use the skills you learn about podcasting to help others.
Run Facebook Ads for Local Businesses
Want to earn an additional $1,000-$2,000 a month running Facebook ads for local businesses?
This course will teach you exactly what you need to get started with a few free tools.
You can spend as little as 2-3 hours a week earning money that can help you pay down debt and reach your financial goals or financial freedom.
What are some Creative Ways to Make Passive Income?
One of the best forms of income is passive income because once you have it set up, you will be making money with little to no extra work on your part.
Advertise on Your Car
Car advertisements are a good form of passive income because you can do it without changing your schedule. Companies like Carvertise and Wrapify pay you to drive around with an advertisement on your vehicle.
Usually, the pay varies and depends on where you drive and how many miles a day you cover, but reports are you can make hundreds of dollars per month simply by advertising on your car.
Create an Online Course
Put your expertise to good use with an online course. While you will need to spend some time upfront creating, recording, and perfecting your online course, it’s a stream of passive income once it’s ready.
The beauty of creating online courses is that you can sell them repeatedly without any extra work. Whether you sell ten or ten thousand courses, the amount of time you spent making the sales is about the same.

Rental Income
These days you don’t need to own a second property to make rental income. Websites like Neighbor connect you with someone to rent your driveway for RV storage.
A site like Swimply will help you rent out your private pool for other people to use. At the same time, a site like Friend With A will connect you with people willing to pay to use your power tools.
If you have a vehicle, then rent out your car through a company like Turo.

Test Websites
If you’re the type of person that likes talking to yourself out loud, then testing a new website might be right up your alley.
Many companies want to know about the user experience before launching or rebranding their website. So, the companies hire website testing companies to see how the general public will interact with the site.
Usually, a test includes navigating a website and talking aloud about what you see, what you like, and what you don’t like.
